Blu announces the Studio C 5+5, Vivo Selfie and Energy X Plus

US smartphone maker Blu Products has announced three new smartphones, the Studio C 5+5, Vivo Selfie and Energy X Plus. All these handset has something that makes it stand out from the others, so whether you need extra power, enjoy a good selfie or just want a solid cheap handset, Blu have you covered. All the handsets run Android 5.0 Lollipop and house dual-SIM slot.

Blu Studio C 5+5 features 5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6582 processor paired with Mali-400 GPU and 1GB RAM. On-board storage is 8GB (with microSD card support). Camerawise, it sports 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front shooter. On the connectivity front it supports 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and micro-USB. It is fueled by 2000mAh battery and comes in Sandstone Grey, Ceramic White, Teal, Mint Green, Orange, Gold and Salmon Pink colors.

There is also a 4G LTE variant of Blu Studio C 5+5 dubbed Studio C 5+5 LTE. It is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor with Adreno 304 GPU. Rest of the specs are similar to the 3G variant. It comes in Sandstone Grey, Ceramic White and Gold colors.

Blu Vivo Selfie features 4.8-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Inside there is an 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6582 processor coupled with Mali 400 GPU and 1GB RAM. On-board storage is 8GB, further expandable via microSD card. Camerawise, it sports 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX 179 sensor and 8-megapixel selfies camera on the front with LED flash and wide-angle lens. It supports 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity and is fueled by a 2300mAh battery. It comes in Sandstone Grey, Ceramic White, Teal, Mint Green and Salmon Pink flavors. It comes prepackaged with a Bluetooth selfie stick inside the box.

Lastly, Blu Energy X Plus sports 5.5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS display and is also powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6582 processor paired with Mali-400 GPU and 1GB RAM. On-board storage is 8GB, further expandable via microSD card slot. Camerwise, it sports 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front shooter with LED flash.  It supports 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity and is fueled by a 4000mAh battery. It comes in Sandstone Grey, Ceramic White and Gold.

The Blu Studio C 5+5 and Studio C 5+5 LTE costs $89 and $99, Blu Vivo Selfie is priced $149 and the Blu Energy X Plus will cost you $139. All the smartphones will go on sale in the U.S soon via Amazon and other online retailers.
