Elephone to introduce Business M series of smartphone in September

Chinese smartphone vendor Elephone will introduce a new 'Business M' series of smartphone. The phones in this series will have a metallic design and sport an elegant texture. Elephone M1 will be the first phone under this series and will offer premium specs at an affordable price.

The Elephone M1 will have 5.5-inch Full HD display and will be powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT67351 processor with Mali-T720 GPU. For imaging there is a 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front facing shooter. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, have a fingerprint sensor and include a Type-C USB port. Other specs like RAM, on-board storage and battery capacity is not known.

There is also a higher model Elephone M2, it will be powered by 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with Mali-T760 GPU, have 5.5-inch Full HD display and fingerprint sensor. Other specs are not known. However, we can expect most of the specs to be same as Elephone M1.

Elephone M1 and M2 design looks similar to the Huawei P8 which is also considered to be in the business class, but has an expensive price tag.

The Elephone M1 and M2 is expected to be launched in September. Pricing details are not known, but is rumored to be priced around $150-$200.
