Huawei Honor 4C, 6, 6 Plus and 4X to get Android Lollipop update in India from September 21

Huawei sub-brand Honor has announced that it will roll out Android Lollipop update to a bunch of Huawei Honor smartphones in the coming weeks in India.

The phones that are eligible for the update are Honor 4c, Honor 6, Honor 6 Plus and Honor 4X. All the said phone will get Emotion UI 3.1 which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The company has also provided exact dates on when the phones will get the latest build.

The Huawei Honor 4C is expected to get the update starting September 21, the Honor will get it on September 25 and Honor 6 Plus on September 29. Owners of Honor 4X will have wait until October 20 to get the latest update.

The latest update will bring new Material Design look with more responsive UI, improved notifications, increased security measures, flexible sharing, performance optimizations and much more.

Huawei did not mention anything about the Honor 3C or Honor Holly or whether the phone will get Android Lollipop.
