Huawei Honor 7i with 13MP flip cameran Snapdragon 616 announced

Huawei is one of China's biggest smartphone OEMs and has been doing really well this year as far as smartphone sales go. They have managed to increase their profit and have released several high-end devices recently. Said that, the company was working on a handset which had an interesting camera on the back. The same device was certified  by Chinese regulatory agency TENAA.

Now, Huawei has announced the Honor 7i in Beijing, China. The phone has a metal frame and is 7.8mm thick around the waist.

The main highlight of the phone is its flip-up camera that gives the ability to use the Honor 7i's rear camera as a front camera as well. It can be used in any angle within 180-degrees. It sports 13-megapixel main shooter with Sony sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 28mm wid-angle lens, dual-tone LED flash and sapphire crystal protection. For those worried that the rotation which flips the camera will wear in time, Huawei assures that the mechanism can withstand at least 2 year of usage even if you flip it 132 times a day.

There is also a fingerprint sensor present on the side of Honor 7i. The fingerprint sensor button can also be used as a camera shutter for capturing selfies.

Inside there is the newly announced Qualcomm's Snapdragon 616 octa-core 64-bit processor with Adreno 405 handling the graphics. The phone comes in two RAM/ROM models, 2GB RAM w/ 16GB storage or 3GB RAM w/ 32GB storage. As for the display the Honor 7i has 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) LCD display with narrow bezels.
