Lava launches the budget Iris Atom 2, Flair P1i smartphones

Lava has launched two new budget smartphone, Iris Atom 2 and Flair P1i in India. Both phones run Android 4.4 KitKat, support 3G connectivity and come with dual-SIM support.

Lava Iris Atom 2 features 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) TFT display and is equipped with 1.3GHz processor with 512MB RAM and 8GB expandable storage (up to 32GB supported). For imaging, there is 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel VGA front facing camera. It is fueled by 1750mAh battery and supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity. There is also Smart Gesture Control features. It is upgradable to Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Lava Flair P1i on the other hand features 4-inch FWVGA (800 x 480 pixels) TFT display and is powered by 1GHz processor paired with 256MB RAM. On-board storage is 512MB, further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. Camerawise, it sports 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel VGA front shooter. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. It is backed by a 1400mAh battery.

Lava's Iris Atom 2 and Flair P1i are priced at Rs. 4,949 and Rs. 3,299 respectively. They come in white and black flavors and will be available through retail stores, multi-brand outlets and online platforms.
