LG G Pad II 10.1 with Snapdragon 800 SoC announced

  
Earlier this month LG announced the G Pad II 8.0 tablet in South Korea. Now the company has announced the successor to the G Pad 10.1, the G Pad II 10.1. The tablet will be showcased at IFA 2015, Berlin next month (September 4 to 9). It has a soft metallic finish, is 7.8mm thick and comes in WiFi only and LTE models.

LG says that it has the slimmest bezel among similar tablet with 10-inch screen. The tablet comes with Read Mode, which while reading ebooks reduces the blue light of the display backlight. There is a Dual Windows mode that divides the screen allowing two apps to run at a time. Also there is Quick Memo+ which allows users to create, save and share memos from any screen. Additionally that tablet comes pre-loaded with Microsoft office suite off apps and 100GB of free OneDrive storage for two years.

As for the specs, the LG G Pad II 10.1 features 10.1-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) display and is powered by 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage (microSD card slot present). It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. Camerawise, it sports 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front facing camera. It is fueled by 7400mAh battery.

The LG G Pad II 10.1 will roll out in Key markets in North America, Europe and Asia starting from September. Pricing will be announced locally during the launch.
