Motorola accidentally reveals the Moto 360 successor; likely to come in two variants
Details of the the next gen Moto 360 smartwatch has surfaced online. Motorola Mobility accidentally leaked a video that demos the next-gen Moto 360 smartwatch via its official twitter account (later taken down). The leak gives us a brief glimpse of what Moto 360 would look like. In addition two models of the Moto 360 was listed over at Anatel, Brazil's federal telecom regulator which is equivalent of FCC in the U.S.
In the leaked video Motorola's smartwatch is seen taking 'OK Google' voice commands to perform various searches. The smartwatch retain its flat tire circular design and the crown button is placed at the 2 o, clock position. The way that the band connects to the watch, the lugs, is different from what we see in the existing Moto 360 model (band is attached under the circular body).
Moving on to listing on Brazil's Anatel, there will be two models of Moto 360 named 360s and 360L. The 360S has a 270mAh battery while the 360L model packs a 375mAh battery. By comparison the existing Moto 360 features a 320mAh battery. The listing indicated that Motorola will release the Moto 360 in both large and small variants. Also present on both smartwatch are Bluetooth LE and WiFi and it will be running Android Wear.
That's all the information known about the new Moto 360. Details about its specs are not yet known.
