Phicomm Energy 653 with 5-inch HD display, 4G LTE launched for Rs. 4999

Chinese smartphone maker Phicomm entered the Indian market in June with the Passion P660 priced at Rs. 10,999. Now the company has added yet another smartphone to its protfolio, the Energy 653.

Phicomm Energy 653 features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor with Adreno 304 GPU, 1GB RAM and 8GB storage (microSD card suppot up to 64GB). Camerawise, it sports 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash, f/2.4 aperture and 2-megapixel front shooter. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, has dual-SIM slot and supports 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 2230mAh battery and comes in Black and White colors.

Phicomm Energy 653  is priced at Rs. 4,999 and will be exclusively available from Amazon India starting from today. At this price point, it's among the most affordable 4G LTE smartphones in India at the moment with support for both Indian TDD-LTE band 40 and FDD-LTE band 3.
