Samsung Galaxy Note 5 w/ specs, Galaxy S6 edge+ press renders leaked
Samsung has scheduled its next 'Galaxy Unpacked' event for August 13 in New York. Expected are the launch of two Galaxy Premium smartphones, Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note 5.
Now, we have been treated to what appears to be the official press renders of Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5, courtesy of Evan Blass, known as @evleaks. The press renders give out a clear look at the Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 and its S Pen. The popular leakster also shared some of the specs of Galaxy Note 5.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will have a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display and will be powered by Exynos 7420 SoC (4x2.1GHz+4x1.5GHz). Other features include 4GB RAM, 32GB On-board storage, 16-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera.Unfortunately there will be no microSD card slot. That's all @evleaks had to share. Galaxy Note 5 is expected to support USB Type-C Port and pack 4100mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is similar to Galaxy S6 edge, but has a 5.7-inch screen. It comes with hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, 32GB internal storage, microSD card slot, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, 5-megapixel front camera, 3000mAh battery and USB Type-C port. A recent import data revealed that the Galaxy S6 edge+ will have 16-megapixel rear camera with 1/2.6" sensor. The 32GB base model is rumored to be priced 799.99 Euro (Rs. 56,000).
The Galaxy Unpacked event will take place at Alice Trullu Hall, Lincoln Center, New York on August 13 at 11:00am ET (8:30pm IST) and will also be live-streamed on Samsung's YouTube channel.
