Acer Liquid 530, 530S, 630, 630S, Z320, Z330 Android 5.1 Lollipop phones announced
At the ongoing IFA 2015, in Berlin Acer announced Six new Android phones, Liquis 530, Liquid 530S, Liquid 630, Liquid 630S, Liquid Z320 and Liquid Z330. All phones run Android 5.1 Lollipop and support 4G LTE (except Liquid Z320).
The Acer Liquid Z530 features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS OGS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor paired with Mali-T720 GPU. It comes in two RAM/ROM models- 1GB RAM w/ 8GB storage and 2GB RAM w/16GB storage. For imaging there is 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and 8-megapixel front shooter with 88-degree wide angle lens for taking selfies. Apart from 4G LTE, the phone supports 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity.
The Liquid Z530S sports 5-inch 720p IPS display and is powered by octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage. Rest of the specs are similar to Liquid Z530. Both phones have Acer's Quick Touch enabling users to quickly control their phone with a simple one-finger gesture.
Acer Liquid Z630 features 5.5-inch 720p IPS OGS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with Mali T720 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage. Camerawise, it sports 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and 8-megapixel front shooter with wide-angle lens for clicking selfies. It supports 3G HSPA+, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity and fueled by 4000mAh battery.
Acer Liquid Z630S comes with octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage. Rest of the specs are similar to Liquid Z630. Both phones have DTA audio and AcerEXTEND that will enable users to take full control of their phonnes via cable or wirelessly using Windows-based PC.
The Acer Liquid Z320 and Z330 features 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display and is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB expandable storage. Both phones sport 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. On the Liquid Z320 the front shooter is 5-megapixel while in the Liquid Z330 the front facing camera is 2-megapixel. The Liquid Z320 comes with an addition 4G LTE support. Both phones comes with DTC Studio Sound system, which promises superior sound performance.
The Acer Liquid Z530 will be available in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) regions by the end of October, with prices starting at €149 and in North America it will start at $149. The Acer Z630 will also roll out to the same region by the end of September, with prices starting at €229 and roll out in the US from October starting at $199. No word about the pricing or availability for Liquid 530S and Z630S. Acer Liquid Z330 will be available for the European and Middle East market in October for $145 (Rs. 10,000).
