Acer Revo Build M1-601 is a Windows 10-based modular mini PC with stackable blocks

Acer at IFA 2015 launched  Revo Build M1-601, a modular mini PC which lets you upgrade or customize certain components by stacking 'Blocks'. It is packaged in a tiny 1 liter chassis with 125 x 125mm footprint and runs Windows 10.

The main component "block" houses Intel Celeron and Pentium processor, up to 8GB RAM, three USB 3.0 ports, an SD card slot, HDMI port and Display port. The blocks include 500GB/1TB, hot swappable HDD. There is also a 'Wireless Power Bank' for wireless charging, 'Audio Block' with speakers and microphones which will be available later.

Each of the blocks stacks on top of the other, using pogo pins that are magnetically alligned to make connections so there is no need to worry about wires.  The Blocks can also work independently or with other PCs.

The Acer Revo Build M1-601 will be available in EMEA in October with prices starting at €199, and in China in December with prices starting at ¥1,999.
