Apple iPad mini 4 gets official, prices start at $399

Apple introduced the iPad mini 4 along with the iPad Pro at its event in Californina. It sports the same 7.9-inch Retina display with 2048 x 1536 resolution and is equipped with Apple's AX8 chip with M8 motion co-processor, comapred to A7 chip in iPad mini 2 and iPad mini 3. There is also the Touch ID fingerprint sensor. It comes in Silver, Gold and Space Grey colors

The Apple iPad mini 4 prices start at $399 for 16GB, $499 for 64GB and $599 for WiFi variants and $529, $629 and $729 for 16GB, 64GB and 128GB Wi-Fi + Cellular models, respectively.. Apple also announced a price cut for its iPad mini 2. It will now be available for $269.
