Google Pixel C tablet with 10.2-inch display, Nvidia X1 SoC announced


Google has expanded its Pixel line of premium devices with the inclusion of its first tablet- the Pixel C.

There is also a keyboard that is sold seperately. The tablet is designed to work with the keyboard and attaches to the tablet magnetically. The C stands for 'covertible'. The viewing angles can be adjusted from 100 to 135 degrees. 

Google Pixel C features 10.2-inch with a resolution of 2560 x 1800 pixels and a density of 308ppi.  The display is said to be able to achieve a 500 nits brightness level. It is equipped with NVIDIA Tegra X1 processor with 256-core Maxwell architecture GPU and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It packs 3GB RAM comes with 32GB or 64GB inbuilt storage. It supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (dual-band), Bluetooth and USB-Type C connectivity.

Google's Pixel C tablet costs $499 for the 32GB storage model and $599 for the 64GB storage model. The keyboard is priced at $149. Release dates are yet to be detailed, but Google promises the Pixel C will be on sale in time for the holiday season.
