HTC One A9 will be a mid-range phone equipped with Snapdragon 617

Ever since we heard about the HTC One A9 codenamed Hima Aero, it was said to be a high-end device. Now newly leaked specs courtesy of @evleaks of the HTC One A9, reveal that it will be a mid-range device.

According to @evleaks, the HTC One A9 will have a 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display and be equipped with 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor with Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage. For imaging, it will sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor and OIS (optical image stabilisation), while the front shooter is 4-ultrapixel.

HTC One A9 will sport metal body with 7.9mm thickness and include a 2150mAh battery and fingerprint sensor. There will be 4G LTE support and the device will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. @evleaks also reveals that the HTC One A9 will go on sale in November in six color schemes.

HTC is expected to unveil the One A9 at it September 29 event in Japan alongside an Android powered HTC smartwatch.
