Lenovo A7000 Plus with 5.5-inch 1080p display, 13MP camera launched in Philippines

Lenovo has introduced a refreshed version of A7000, the A7000 Plus in Philippines. The phone comes with upgraded innards when compared to the A7000.

Lenovo A7000 Plus features 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) display and is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage. For imaging there is 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front shooter. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth and micro-USB. It is backed by 3000mAh battery and has speakers powered by Dolby Atmos technology.

By comparison the Lenovo A7000 has an octa-core SoC clocked at 1.5GHz, 5.5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display, 8GB on-board storage, 8-megapixel rear camera and 2900mAh battery, rest of specs being same as A7000 Plus.

The Lenovo A7000 Plus is priced at Php 7,999 (Rs. 11,500 | $170) and will go on sale in Philippines via Lazada, a local e-commerce website. Lenovo is yet to reveal availability details of the device for other markets.
