LG H740 with Snapdragon 615 SoC visits benchmark

A new LG mobile device with model number LG H740 was spotted passing through GFXBench.

As per the listing, the LG H740 has a 5.7-inch 1080p display and is powered by Snapdragon 615 chipset with a 1.5 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU and Adreno 405 GPU.The phone has 2GB RAM and on-board storage is 8GB. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and sports 12- or 13-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front shooter. Both cameras support 1080p video recording.

The unknown LG phone supports WiFi, NFC, GPS and Bluetooth connectivity and includes sensors such as accelerometer, a compass and a pedometer.

Considering the specs, it looks like the LG H740 will be a mid-range phablet.

In related LG has scheduled an event on September 21 where it is expected to announce what it is calling "Someting New". It is being speculated that the LG H740 could be announced on that day.
