Samsung's 12-inch 4K tablet running Windows 10 lands in India for testing


Samsung is reportedly working on a 12-inch Windows tablet running Windows 10. Now, a listing on India's import tracking  website, Zauba, shows that Samsung has imported several Windows tablet with model number SM-W7900 into the country for testing.


The listing reveals that  ten 12-inch Samsung tablet have been imported into New Delhi from South Korea for "testing & evaluation purpose and will be destroyed". The listing also mentions the price to be Rs. 30,383 per unit ($460). This is not the final retail price of the device and the final price will be quite higher than this.



As for the specs, the tablet is rumored to have a fanless 13 nm Intel Core M chip, 4GB RAM, and S Pen. The 12-inch screen will have a resolution of 2560 x 1600 or 3840 x 2400 pixels. It is 6.2mm thick and weighs 600g.

The 12-inch Windows tablet from Samsung is expected to be launched in October, the same time, Microsoft announces the Surface Pro 4.
