BlackBerry Priv features detailed, unboxed in new videos


BlackBerry has released a video of its first Android smartphone, the Priv. The video highlights the privacy and productivity features of the Priv.The video shows the highlight features of the BlackBerry Priv including the physical keyboard on the slider, BlackBerry Hub, pop-up widgets, 4K video recording capabilities, dual curved edge screen, touch enabled physical keyboard with SmartSlide, rear camera with OIS and DTEK. DTEK by BlackBerry for Android lets you know when your privacy could be at risk so you can take action to improve it. Check out the BlackBerry in action below-


In addition, U.K retailer Carphone warehouse received a release unit of BlackBerry Priv and unboxed it. The packaging contains the words 'Privilege' and 'Privacy'. Inside there is the device itself, a SIM ejector tool, manuals, headphones and a USB cable. The video also demonstrates several unique BlackBerry features. Check out the unboxing video-


The BlackBerry Priv  is now available for pre-order in the U.S, Canada and U.K. In the U.S, the BlackBerry Priv is available for $699 via BlackBerry Store , in Canada the cost is $899 and in UK for £559. BlackBerry says that the Priv will be shipped starting November 6. The Priv is not a CDMA handset, so it will not work on Verizon, Sprint, and US Cellular, but it is compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile.Roll out details to other countries will be announced soon.
