Microsoft Lumia 650 (Saana) render surface, leak reveals 5-inch 720p display and more details.
Earlier this month Microsoft announced three new smartphones, the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL high end products and the low end Lumia 550. Now, according to a new report, Microsoft is working on the Lumia 650, which has previously leaked under the codename Saana. The device is said to be another low-end offering from Microsoft.
A render outed by WinBeta allegedly codenamed Saana, could be released as Microsoft Lumia 650. Here is why- as you can see in the image, the time that is shown on the smartphone's screen is 6:50, which could be a reference to Lumia 650. Previous Lumia models including the Lumia 950 and Lumia 550, also had their model number displayed as time (9:50, 5:50) that shows up on the screen as well as the lock screen in their official renders.
In related, according to a report from WMPowerUser, citing sources suggests that the Lumia 650/Saana is the RM-1152, which is a model that showed up in AdDuplex and revealed to feature a standard five-inch 720p screen.
The Lumia 650 is said (via) to be equipped with a 5-inch 720p display, Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 210 SoC, microSD card slot and 2200mAh battery. It will have support for Glance Screen and there will be no dedicated camera button.
Like the recent phones from Microsoft, the Saana too will run Windows 10 Mobile out of the box. Other details are scarce.
The specs suggest that the Lumia Saana aka 650 could be another low end offering from Microsoft.
