OnePlus's upcoming phone visits TENAA, additional specs outed

The OnePlus X or the OnePlus mini, have passed Chinses telecommunication certifcation website TENAA. Additionally purported leaks about the specifications have also surfaced. 

The upcoming OnePlus handset listed on TENAA carries the model name One E1001 and there are also front and back shots of the device. On the front the upcoming OnePlus device has a 2.5D glass covering the front and metal band wrapped around the sides. On the front there is a front facing camera, earpiece and the tree capacitive touch buttons placed below the display. Also seen is the notification switch on the left side. The TENAA listing suggests that the phone will support 4G LTE, sport a 4.9-inch screen, fueled by 2450mAh battery and measure 140 x 69 x 6.9mm.

In addition to the TENAA images, a bunch of specs of the OnePlus X/Mini leaked via GforGames. As per the report, the handset will sport a ClearForce feature, which functions similarly to Apple's Force Touch used on the latest iPhones. It will sport a 5-inch Full HD display, the same used in Xiaomi Mi 4c and is also share the Mi 4c's 'Side Touch' technology, in which users can launch apps or camera app by touching the left-side of the screen.

Moving on, the handset will have dual front-facing 1.2W stereo speaker, which was not visible in TENAA listing. It will sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX258 sensor without OIS, but is expected to make use of PDF (phase-detection autofocus) and EIS (electronic image stabilization).

As for conncectivity, the upcoming OnePlus handset will have FM radio, NFC, IR blaster and will have removable StyleSwap covers. The back panel would be removable, but the battery will stay fixed inside just like the OnePlus 2.

Rumors suggest that the upcoming OnePlus will be equipped with an Octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 SoC with 2GB RAM. The expected price is $250.

OnePlus have already confirmed that it is working on a new OnePlus device, which they plan to launch by year end. The exact date is not known.
