Panasonic P50 Idol and P65 Flash with Android 5.1 Lollipop launched

Panasonic India has jumped into the festive celebrations with the launch P50 Idol and the P65 Flash smartphones.

Except for the display and battery capacity ,the Panasonic P50 Idol and P65 Flash share the same specs.The P50 Idol has a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and a 2150mAh battery, the P65 Flash features 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and is fueled by 2910mAH battery. Both the smartphone are even similar visiually.

Powering the P50 Idol and P65 Flash are quad-core processors of unknown make, clocked at 1.3GHz clubbed with 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt storage, further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. For imaging there is 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera. They run Android 5.1 Lollipop, have dual-SIM slots and supports 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Panasonic P50 Idol comes in Fabric Silver and Fabric Gold colors and is priced at Rs. 6,790. The Panasonic P65 Flash comes in Metallic Silver and Metallic Gold colors and is priced at Rs. 8,290.

Panasonic in the press release stated "With the release of the P50 Idol and P65 Flash, Panasonic now offers nearly 30 smartphones at affordable price points for every buyer to indulge themselves or their loved ones this festive season."
