Xiaomi intoduced PickMi‬ pick up and drop service in India for Rs. 189

Xiaomi has introduced its own doorstep service called PickMi doorstep home pick up and drop service across India. Customers can get their Xiaomi devices services by calling the toll free number 1800 103 6286 at a nominal fee of Rs. 189 inclusive tax.

Notably this is not the first doorstep service announced by Xiaomi. Back in May, Xiaomi India partnered with Delhi-based startup GadgetWooD multi-brand repair and support service provider to improve its after sale service by offering more service centers, one-days repair and deliver services in Delhi-NCR region.

Several smartphone brand have started offering doorstep pick up and drop service facility in India. Meizu while announcing its MX5 in August, confirmed plans to launch 40 customer service centres across 20 Indian cities and offer doorstep service facility. Motorola in August announced Moto Xpress, a pilot project to provide doorstep service of its devices in Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida.

Last month Xiaomi announced that it has sold over 3 million smartphone in India since it launch. The company launched its first 'Made in India' product, the Redmi 2 Prime manufactured at Xiaomi and Foxconn facility in Andhra Pradesh back in August. 

The Pick Mi service will certainly help its customers get better after-sales service from the brand.
