HTC One A9 and Desire 828 dual sim announced in India

HTC has introduced the One A9 and Desire 828 dual sim smartphones in India. The HTC one A9 was unveiled last month and is the first smartphone to run Android Marshmallow out of the box, but sports a design that's very similar to the Apple iPhone 6. The Desire 828 was unveiled earlier this month in China and is the the first Desire series smartphone to boast OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation)

The HTC One A9 has a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display and is equipped with octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor with Adreno 405 GPU. It comes in two variants- 2GB RAM w/ 16GB storage and 3GB RAM w/ 32GB storage. It sports 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, OIS and an Ultrapixel front facing camera. It comes with a fingerprint sensor that is integrated directly into the home button of the device and is fueled by 2150mAh battery, which supports Quick Charge.

The HTC Desire 828 packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage. It is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, OIS and Ultrapixel front facing camera.

The HTC One A9 and Desire 828 dual sim will be available in India, in the next couple of week. Pricing will be announced closer to the release, said HTC.
