Microsoft Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL launched in India
The Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL running Windows 10 Mobile were announced at Windows 10 Devices event in October. Now Microsoft India has launched the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL flagship smartphones in India. Microsoft is launching the dual SIM variants of these smartphones in the country.
The Microsoft Lumia 950 Dual SIM and Lumia 950 XL Dual SIM are priced at Rs. 43,699 and Rs. 49,399 respectively. Microsoft is offering the Display Dock HD-500 worth Rs. 5,999 with these smartphones as a limited period offer till December 11. In addition, they come with double data offer for Airtel 4G customers. Both the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will be available for pre-order via Amazon India and retail stores such as Croma, Reliance and Sangeetha starting from today.
The Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL offers ClearBlack OLED displays with 2K resolution, which is the highest on Microsoft smartphones yet. The Lumia 950 comes with a 5.2-inch display, a 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, and a 3,000mAh battery. The Lumia 950 XL has a 5.7-inch display, a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, and a 3,340mAh battery. Other specs are similar. They come with 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage, USB Type-C port, 20-megapixel rear camera with ZEISS optics, OIS, triple LED flash, and 5-megapixel front shooter.
They support Windows Hello biometric system that unlocks the device by just looking at your face. The main highlight is the Windows 10 Continuum. Using a Microsoft Display Dock (comes with an HDMI port, DisplayPort, and three USB ports), you can connect your phone to a monitor and use it with a Windows 10-like PC interface.
The adaptive antenna technology on Lumia 950 and 950 XL makes it posible for the devices to give users the best reception no matter how they pick it up. They also comes with liquid cooling technology which ensures that the phone dosen't heat up.
