Xiaomi Mi Purifier 2 launched

Xiaomi outed the second-gen edition of Mi Air Purifier in China, along with the Redmi Note 3 and Mi Pad 2. The Mi Purifier 2 is compact and measures just 240mm x 520mm. It is 40 percent smaller, 11 percent quieter and 58 percent power efficient compared to its predecessor.

It offers a new pressurization system that includes brushless DC motor, axial fans and a Francis fan design and conical duct. It has 3-layered filter that promises 99.99 percent of PM2.5 particles. The devices CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) is 330m3/h in the standard mode and 339m3/h in active mode. 

As per Xiaomi, the Mi Purifier is capable of effectively cleaning the air in a 23 square metre room in just 10 minutes. When put in night mode, the noise levels go down to as low at 30db. It has built-in WiFi module 802.11 b/g/n that connects to your home WiFi network so that you can access the Mi Purifier 2 via app.

The Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2 is priced at RMB (US$ 110 | Rs. 7,250) and is now available for purchase in China. The standard filter is priced at RMB 149, while the enhanced filter costs RMB 169.
