Asus ZenFone Go 4.5 launched in India for Rs. 5,299

Asus has launched a new variant of the ZenFone Go in India, the ZenFone Go 4.5. The display, RAM, front and rear camera, and battery has been reduced in this variant to make it more affordable.

The Asus ZenFone Go 4.5 features 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display and is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6580 processor with Mali 400 GPU and 1GB RAM. On-board storage is 8GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 64GB. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Zen UI 2.0 on top. For imaging, there is 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel VGA front facing camera. Connectivity options inlcude 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 1600mAh battery.

By comparison the earlier model of ZenFone Go comes with a 5-inch HD display, 2GB RAM, 8MP rear & 2MP front camera and a 2070mAh battery. It carries the price tag Rs. 7,999. 

The Asus ZenFone Go 4.5 (Black color) is priced at Rs. 5,299 and will be available for purchase exclusively via Flipkart. It comes with up to Rs. 2,000 discount on exchange.
