HTC prices One A9 at Rs. 29,990, will be Snapdeal exclusive

Last month, HTC launched the One A9 for the Indian market, with no word on availability and pricing. Now HTC has announced that the HTC One A9 will be exclusively available on Snapdeal with a price tag of Rs. 29,990.

The registration for the sale will be held between December 9 (starting 9am) to December 14, and will be available to buy from December 15. HTC is introducing the Carbon Gray and Pearl Silver color variants of the One A9 in India.

Tony Navin, Senior Vice President, Partnerships and Strategic Initiatives, Snapdeal said, “We are thrilled to launch the HTC One A9 in India. This is a great addition to our smartphone offerings, given the success of this phone overseas.”

HTC One A9 sports a iPhone 6 like metal design and is one of the few first smartphone to runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. One of the most notable features of HTC's new One A9 smartphone is the guarantee for Android updates. HTC at the global launch event promised that the unlocked HTC One A9 will receive every latest Android OS update within 15 days of the Nexus range.

HTC's VP of Product Management, Mo Versi has already announced that the Android 6.0.1 update with new emojis will roll out the latest HTC One A9 by the end of this month. The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor that is integrated into the home button.

As for the specs, the One A9 has a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display and is equipped with octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor with Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage. It sports 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, OIS and an Ultrapixel front facing camera. It is fueled by 2150mAh battery, which supports Quick Charge.
