HTC teases upcoming smartphone with 13MP OIS camera that can capture RAW
HTC is teasing an upcoming smartphone sporting 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and the capability to click RAW images. Along with the details of camera, the teaser has a caption that reads 'What's next after A9'.
Rumors point to the HTC One X9, which has been certified by TENAA and also few images have surfaced online. The mention of 13-megapixel camera in the teaser is in line with the TENAA listing which also lists HTC One X9 to have a 13-megapixel shooter. Nothing is yet confirmed, so we can just assume that the upcoming HTC smartphone is the X9.
TENAA lists HTC One X9 to have a metal body, 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display, 2.2GHz octa-core processor (possibly MediaTek Helio X10), 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage, 13MP rear & Ultrapixel front shooter, Dual front firing speakers (HTC BoomSound), 4G LTE support and a 3000mAH battery.
The HTC One X9 is expected to have the same iPhone like design language as the One A9 and is rumored to be released sometime in Q1 2016.
