Intex Aqua GenX with metal body, 5.5-inch display launched at Rs. 13,299

Intex's latest offering is the Aqua GenX, which is a premium flagship smartphone rocking a 8.4mm slim unibody metal build and boasting some impressive specs.

The Intex Aqua GenX features 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with Asahi Dragon trail Glass protection and is equipped with an 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor further aided by Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage, which can be topped via microSD card. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

For imaging, there is 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Samsung sensor and PDAF. Front facing camera is 5-megapixel. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It houses hybrid dual SIM slot (SIM + SIM or SIM + microSD card) and is fueled by 2850mAH battery. 

The device comes with a feature called Matrabasha, which provides support for as many as 21 Indian languages. There is a Q-Key on the right side of the device, that lets you set shortcut for any feature so that you can open it directly by pressing key. Other features include Glove mode, Smart Wake, HotKnot, Cast Screen and Smart Motion.

The Intex Aqua GenX comes in  Silver and Champagne colors and is priced at Rs. 13299. It will be available for purchase starting today.
