Mio Global enters Indian market with four fitness wearables with heart rate monitor
Mio Global, makers of health and fitness trackers, has entered India with the launch of its entire range of fitness wearable- Mio Fuse, Mio Link and Mio Velo fitness trackers and Mio Alpha 2 smartwatch. These are equipped with heart rate sensors, can track daily activities like calories burned, steps taken etc. and are water resistant.
The Mio Fuse comes with an LED Matrix display and can track all day activity including steps walked, distance covered and calories burnt. It can store up to two weeks of daily workout details. It comes with five-color LED and vibration alerts to indicate heart rate zone and features Bluetooth 4.0 and ANT+ transmission for mobile apps. The Mio Link and Mio Velo are budget fitness trackers with LED displays, and connect to smartphone via Bluetooth and offers ANT+ transmission for mobile apps.
The Mio Alpha 2 smartwatch sports a Mineral Glass LCD display and offers LED and audio alerts for heart rate zones. It has countdown and repeat timers and can store up to 25 hours of workout data. It misses out on all-day activity tracking and ANT+ transmission, while the rest of the specs are similar to the fitness trackers. The smartwatch offer 24 hours of battery life and 3 months without continuous heart rate monitoring on.
The Mio Fuse, Mio Link and Mio Velo wrist bands have been priced at Rs. 11,499, Rs 6,599 and Rs. 9,999 respectively. The Mio Alpha 2 smartwatch on the other hand costs Rs. 16,099. Mio has partnered with Amazon India to sell these fitness wearables.
