Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G to will get Android Marshmallow

In October, Motorola outed the list of devices eligible for Android Marshmallow update. But Moto E 2nd gen was left out despite being a 2015 smartphone, drawing criticism. Now Motorola has updated the list of devices scheduled to release Android Marshmallow and have included the Moto E 2nd gen 4G. 

The Android Marshmallow for the Moto E 2nd gen 4G will be available in select regions including Canada, Latin America, Europe and Asia (excluding China). It looks like India will also get the update. 

In addition to the Moto E (2nd gen) 4G, the Moto X Force, DROID Turbo 2, and DROID Maxx 2 have also been added to the list.

Motorola has already released the Android 6.0 update for Moto X style in India last month and the brand has promised the Marshmallow update for the Moto G 3rd gen and Moto X play in India soon.
