Oppo R7 Plus refreshed model with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage announced

The Oppo R7 Plus was launched in China back in May and reached Indian shores in September. Now Oppo has introduced a refreshed model of the R7 Plus with beefed up specs. The new model comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage as compared to 3GB RAM and 32GB storage in the earlier variant. The rest of specs remain the same.

The Oppo R7 Plus features 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor with Adreno 405 GPU. There is also a China Unicom variant with a MediaTek MT6795 Octa-Core SoC. The device runs Color OS 2.1 based on Android 5.1 (Lollipop).

For imaging there is 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, laser auto focus, Sony IMX214 sensor and f/2.2 aperture. On the front there is an 8-megapixel shooter for clicking selfies. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG. It is fueled by 4100mAh battery which supports VOOC rapid charge support. The phone also has a Fingerprint sensor which is located at the back below the primary camera.

The Oppo R7 Plus w/ 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at CNY 2999 ($483 | Rs. 31,000) for the China Unicom variant and CNY 3299 ($510 | Rs. 34,000) for the international variant. It comes in Golden color and is available for pre-order from the Oppo website in China and goes on sale later this month.
