Samsung rumored to be developing new virtual assistant

Samsung is rumored to be working on a new voice assistant for mobile devices. The new voice assistant will be based on S Voice app and feature a more powerful search feature as well as clever notification. At this point no other information is known of the new voice assistant.

“Samsung is developing a Virtual Assistant for its devices. It will build on S Voice app with search engine and clever notification.”

Samsung's S Voice is nowhere closer to Apple's Siri, Microsoft's Cortana and Google's Google Now. Virtual assistants on smartphones and tablets have have already proven to be quite useful as it can do most of the tasks and this is what Samsung is perhaps working on improving. 

We can expect to see the voice assistant with the launch of Galaxy S7, because the company has a history of launching new software features with new hardware. The Galaxy S7 announcement could be happen at MWC in February 2016
