Windows 10 for Mi 4 LTE will be released on December 3

Earlier this year in March, Microsoft and Xiaomi announced that they will bring Windows 10 Mobile to Xiaomi's Mi 4 smartphone. Microsoft has already developed a Windows 10 Mobile ROM for Xiaomi devices, and was made available to only a select group of Xiaomi users in June. Up until now, the ROM was in Beta stage. Now Xiaomi has announced the release of the Windows 10 Mobile ROM.

Xiaomi's Founder and President, Lin Bin posted a teaser in Weibo suggesting that the Windows 10 Mobile ROM for Xiaomi Mi 4 will be outed on December 3. The beta tester of the Windows 10 Mobile ROM for Mi 4, flashed build 1058, which is quite stable and usable, but we can expect the latest version to be made available for the public.

However, the ROM will be made available for Mi 4 LTE-enabled model, which is unfortunately not available in India.

To remind you, the Xiaomi Mi 4 features 5-inch Full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3GB RAM, 16GB / 64GB internal storage, 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, 4G LTE support and a 3080mAh battery.
