Xiaomi announces Mi TV 3 70-inch 4K Smart TV

Xiaomi has announced a new 70-inch Mi TV 3 in China, the company's larget smart TV to date. It sports a metal body for premium look and has a 12.9mm thick alloy frame and is 38.6mm at its thickest.

The 70-inch Mi TV 3 display is made by sharp an bears a 4K screen with 3840 x 2160 pixels screen resolution. It is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core MStar 6A928 Cortex-A17 processor aided by Mali 760 GPU and 2GB RAM. It comes with 8GB internal storage (eMMC 5.0) and runs on MIUI TV based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Connectvity options include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, Mi Port, three HDMI 2.0 port and a AV, VGA, USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and Ethernet port.

The TV comes with speaker that has alumium build and has six speaker Soundbar with dome tweeter and four 2.5-inch woofers. The Soundbar has all the ports and the motherboard and connects to the TV via a single MI Cable.

The 70-inch Mi TV 3 is priced at CNY 9,999 (US$ 1540 | Rs. 1,00,000) and will go on sale in China soon.
