Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition with Intel Z3590, 4GB RAM and 256GB storage announced

Asus has expanded its ZenFone 2 lineup with the addition of a refreshed ZenFone 2 Deluxe. The Taiwanese brand has announced a Special Edition of the already Limited Edition ZenFone 2 Deluxe.

The new Asus ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition comes with 2.5GHz quad-core Intel Z3590 processor based on Intel’s “Moorefield” architecture with PowerVR G6430 GPU, 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and 256 internal storage, which can be increased using microSD card slot.

The rest of specification will remain the same as the previous ZenFone 2 Deluxe, including 5.5-inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 13-megapixel Pixelmaster camera with laser auto-focus, dual-tone LED flash, 5-megapixel camera, LTE Cat 4+ support and 3000mAh non-removable battery with BoostMaster fast charging. It runs Android Lollipop with Zen UI on top.

The Asus ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition will come in two color options, a Silver Polygon that has 3D pattern at the back, and a Carbon Night which has a flat back cover with a carbon fiber finish. Both the models will have red accents at the side, and the rear volume rocker button will come with red and black ZenUI theme.

Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing and availability details of this beast.
