Asus ZenFone Max pre-order begins in India, goes on sale January 15 for Rs. 9,999

The Asus ZenFone Max was unveiled at the ZenFestival in August last year in India. Now the ZenFone Max has been officially launched in the country and is priced at Rs. 9,999. It comes in Pure Black and Ceramic colors and is now available for pre-order on Amazon India and Flipkart, and goes on sale from January 15.

The main highlight of the ZenFone Max is its 5000mAh battery capacity which also doubles up as a power bank for other devices. The battery is non-removable and the brand promises that the ZenFone Max can deliver up to 914 hours of standby time and up to 38 hours of talktime.

The Asus ZenFone Max features 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Inside there is a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. Camerwise, it sports 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Real Tone Flash and Laser Auto Focus. On the front there is an 5-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degress wide-angle lens. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Zen UI 2.0 on top, has dual-SIM slot and supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
