Compulab Airtop, powerful mini PC that's completely silent
Israel based CompuLab, a leading manufacturer of computer-boards for embedded systems and miniature fanless-PCs, has unveiled a new range of rugged mini PC system called Airtop, that comes in several different versions depending on your needs and requirements.
The Airtop Mini PCs range adopts cool air-flow technology, known as Airtop's 'natural air-flow' (NAF) to keep the system cool, as it has a fanless design. The NAF enables to pump up to 220w of heat generation out of the machine without moving parts or liquid cooling.
Compulab is offering different configuration of the Airtop Mini PC, for workstations, gaming systems as well as a bare bare bone versions that sells without any processor, memory, storage or graphics included. They can run Linux or Windows 7/8/10.

It can support up to 32GB dual-channel DDR3-1866 RAM and can support for upto four 4K display. There is also support of dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, a PCIe x 16 slot, two mini PCIe slots and multiple USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports. It also has an optional FACE module, that adds addition USB and Ethernet ports.
- Airtop-W – workstation model — includes a Xeon Processor E3 plus an Nvidia Quadro M4000 graphics card
- Airtop-G – gaming model — includes a Core i7 Processor plus an Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 graphics card
- Airtop-S – server model — includes a Xeon Processor E, 32GB of ECC RAM, four HDDs in RAID configuration, plus six Gigabit Ethernet ports
- Airtop-DIY — barebones model — supplied without processor, memory, storage, and discrete graphics card
The prices start at $1128 for the barebones model and go all the way up to $2999 for the high-end server model. The Airtop-G model for games with a core i7 CPU and GTX 950 GPU prices start at $1968.
