HP refreshes Spectre X360 and Pavilion X2 notebooks with larger screens

HP has refreshed its Spectre X360 and Pavilion X2 convertible notebooks line with larger screens. The company announced two notebook models in the Spectre X360 series, a 15-inch and a 13.3-inch with an OLED display, and one in the Pavilion X2 series.

The HP Spectre x360 15-inch model, to be precise 15.6 sports 4K display (3820x2160 pixels) and is powered by Intel Core i5 or i7 processor with Iris Graphics and up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD. Other features include Band & Olufsen audio tech, 3 x USB 3.0 Type-C port, mini DisplayPort, and an HDMI port. It offers 13 hours of battery life.

HP has also refreshed the 13.3-inch model of Spectre X360 and now comes with Quad HD OLED display option. It comes with an optional Intel Iris graphics and up to 1TB SSD. Other specs will remain the same.

The HP Pavilion X2 features a 12.1-inch and has a detachable keyboard so that it can be used as a tablet. It will be available with 2GB to 8GB of RAM, 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB of storage, and a choice of an Intel Atom Cherry Trail or Intel Core M Skylake processor. The notebook features a USB Type-C connector, USB 2.0 and a micro HDMI port. It offers up to 8 hours of battery life.

The new HP Spectre x360 15-inch model will be available in mid-February at a starting price of $1, 149 (Rs. 76500). The 13.3-inch variant with an OLED screen will be released later this year. The 12.1 inch HP Pavilion x2- price starts at$499.99 (Rs. 33,000) and is expected to be available on February 7, 2016 at HP.com
