Karbonn K9 Smart with 12 system-wide regional languages support launched for Rs. 3,990

Karbonn's latest offering is the K9 smart, an entry level smartphone targeted at non-English speaking audience. The handset comes with support for 12 Indian languages at the system level, while phone contacts can be accessed in 11 Indian languages, and users can choose from 21 Indian languages for typing input.

The Karbonn K9 Smart features 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display and is equipped with 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB RAM and 8GB internal storage, further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat and supports 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. It comes with 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 1.3-megapixel front facing camera. A 2300mAh battery keeps the device running.
 
The K9 smart also comes pre loaded with apps such as Cricbuzz, which will offer commentary and live updates in 6 Indian languages, as well as Newshunt, which will offer news and magazines in 11 Indian languages.

The Karbonn K9 Smart comes in Black color and is priced at Rs. 3,990. It is now available via retail stores.
