Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga is a 14-inch convertible notebook
Lenovo at CES 2016, has unveiled the ThinkPad X1 Yoga, a 14-inch 2-in-1 convertible business notebook. It features a black case and a hinge that lets the display fold back 360 degress so that the notebook can be used in tablet, tent and stand modes.
The 14-inch display comes in three versions - Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD display, 2K (2560 x 1440 pixels) IPS LCD display and a 2K (2560 x 1440 pixels) OLED display. The OLED display is made by Samsung.
It is powered by up to 6th generation Intel Core i7 processor and comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB PCIe SSD storage. Connectivity features include LTE-A support, 3 x USB 3.0 ports, a OneLink+ (RJ45) port, Mini DisplayPort, HDMI ports and microSD card slot. The battery can last up to 11 hours.
Also on-board is a spill resistant full-sized backlit keyboard with the keys that retract automatically when not being used as a laptop. There is also a dockable rechargeable stylus pen.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga prices start at $1449 (Rs. 96,000) and will be available starting January. The OLED model will be available starting April.
