Samsung Gear S2 classic gets rose gold and platinum colors

The Samsung Gear S2 classic comes with a Black finish and a matching genuine leather band. Now at CES 2016, Samsung has added two new premium models of the Gear S2 classic- one encased in 18K Rose Gold and the other in Platinum.

The Rose Gold model will be paired with an Ivory genuine leather band, while the Platinum model will come with a black genuine leather band. Both models will be available in Februaryand the pricing is yet to be revealed. The specifiactions are same as the Gear S2 Classic.

The Samsung Gear S2 Rose Gold and Platinum models run on Tizen based wearable platform and sports a 1.2-inch (360 x 360 pixels) Circular Super AMOLED displays with rotating bezels that allows users to scroll, zoom, etc. It has home and back buttons to access apps and notifications. 

The smartwatches are powered by 1GHz dual-core processor with 512GB RAM and 4GB RAM, Other features include IP68 certification for dust and water resistant, NFC support for mobile payments, Sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, heart rate sensor, ambient light sensor, and barometer) and a 250mAh battery that supports wireless charging. They connect to compatible devices via Bluetooth 4.1.
