Intex launches FitRist activity and sleep tracker for Rs. 999

Intex, in July last year forayed into the wearable segment with the iRist smartwatch. Now the brand has launched its first fitness tracking band called FitRist. The fitness band comes with a number of health and fitness features and lets you keep track of steps taken, distance traveled, calories burned, and can monitor the quality of sleep as well.

The Intex FitRist sports a 0.86-inch OLED display and shows notification for incoming calls. You will also be able to control music. It comes with a Remote Shutter feature that allows you to control the camera on smartphone from the band itself.

The FitRist is compatible via devices running Android 4.3 or above and iOS or higher, and pairs (connect) to these devices via Bluetooth 4.0. It is water-resistant and splash proof adding durability to the fitness band and promises up to 12 days of battery life on a single charge.

The Intex FitRist is priced at Rs. 999 and will be available exclusively on Snapdeal. It comes in Dark Blue and White colors. At the said price, the Intex FitRist will be competing agains Xiaomi's Mi Band and Yu's YuFit.
