Moto G (Gen 3), Moto G Turbo Edition now available on Amazon India

Motorola's Moto G (Gen 3) and Moto G Turbo Edition will now be available on Amazon India as well. Until now both the smartphones were exclusive to Flipkart, and that's no longer the case.

Amazon India will sell the 2GB RAM w/ 16GB storage model of the Moto G (Gen 3), along with the Moto G Turbo. However, the Moto G (Gen 3) 1GB RAM w/ 8GB storage model will go on sale by the end of this week. 

The Moto G (Gen 3) was launched at the starting price of Rs. 11,999, but is now available starting at Rs. 9,999, while the Moto G Turbo Edition that was launched in December 2015 for Rs. 14,499, now costs Rs. 12,499.

To recap the specs, the Moto G (Gen 3) comes with 5-inch HD display, 1.4GHz Snapdragon 410 SoC, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, dual SIM slots, 4G LTE IPx7 certification (for dust and water resistance) and  2470mAh battery.

The Moto G Turbo is an upgraded model of the Moto G (Gen 3) and comes with a more powerful Snapdragon 615 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and TurboPower charge support. Rest of the specs are similar to Moto G (Gen 3). Both smartphones were launched running Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) and got Android 6.0 Marshmallow update recently. 

This is not the first time Motorola is offering its phones on Amazon India. The Moto E (Gen 2) 3G and 4G variants are also available on Amazon.
