Motorola Moto E (2015) 4G gets Android Marshmallow update in India

Motorola has started rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Moto E 4G 2015 in  India. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update v 24.51.39 for Moto E 4G 2015 weighs in at 453.9MB and is being rolled out over-the-Air. The roll out is in phases so it will take some time to hit your Moto device.

Along with Android 6.0 Marshmallow features including Google Now On Tap, app permissions, Doze mode and more, the update also includes Android security update for January 2016.

The Moto E 4G 2015 is Motorola's cheapest smartphone and was launched in April last year in the country running Android 5.0 Lollipop and received Android 5.1 Lollipop update later. 

To recall the Moto X Play, Moto G 2015 and Moto G Turbo edition has already received the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
