MSI GT72S G Tobii gaming laptop uses eye-tracking to control games
Well known gaming laptop maker MSI has launched GT72S G Tobii-805, the first gaming laptop with in-built Tobii eye-tracking technology.
Tobii's eye-tracking technology gives you the ability to control various aspects of your PC with just your eyes, so you won't be needing to use your mouse or keyboard to navigate. According to MSI, the eye-tracking tech can be used for controlling games as well as certain aspects of Windows.
Game titles including Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, Assassin's Creed: Rogue, ARMA III, Elite: Dangerous and the upcoming 'Tom Clancy's The Division.' are able to take advantage of this technology. You will be able to perform actions like switching targets in a game, select objects or simply pause the game by looking away. Outside gaming, you can use this technology to navigate Windows and login via Windows Hello, select or delete items with one look, seamlessly zoom and center maps without scrolling and more.
The MSI GT72S G Tobii-805 sports a 17.3-inch Full HD display and is powered by Intels' 6th generation Core i7 processor with 32GB RAM and Nvidia GeForce GTX 980M graphics The laptop comes with 1TB HDD and 256GB SDD.
Other features include 6 x USB 3.0 ports, a USB Type-C port, mini DisplayPort, HDMI output, Killer Gaming Network E2400 LAN, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, Blu-ray burner, a pair of 3W speakers with a woofer and SteelSeries full-color backlit keyboard. It also comes with dual fan Cooler Burst 3 for keeping the machine cool.
The MSI GT72S G Tobii-805 is priced at $2599 and is exclusively available from Newegg in the U.S.
