Timex Metropolitan+ analog watch plus fitness tracker launched in India for Rs. 9,995

World's largest watch manufacturer Timex has launched the Metropolitan+, an analog watch with fitness tracking capabilities in India. It costs Rs. 9,995 and will be exclusively available for purchase on Amazon India.

The Timex Metropolitan+  is aimed at men and has a regular analog display, and also acts as a activity tracker. It pairs with the smartphone via Bluetooth to connect with the Timex app (Android and iOS) that tracks daily activity including steps, distance and calories burned. The stats are displayed on the fourth hand dial. The app stores all the collected data so you can access and analyze it any time.

The wearable is water reistant for up to 50 meters in depth and promises battery life of 1.5 years. It also offers quick release straps, and Timex's signature INDIGLO night light.

The Timex Metropolitan+ will be available in two styles- Silver-tone case, a black dial w/ red accents and texture leather straps, and with a Black case, a black dial w/ orange accents, and comes with interchangable black silicon and orange nylon straps.
