Casio WSD-F10 Android Wear Smart Outdoor watch goes on sale for $500

Popular watch maker Casio announced the first rugged Android Wear smartwatch, the WSD-F10 Smart Outdoor Watch at this years CES 2016 in Las Vegas. Now the smartwatch is available for purchase in the U.S for $499.99 from Google Store, Amazon, REI and Casio's online store.

Casio's WSD-F10 Smart Outdoor Watch is aimed at those involved in outdoor activities, as it is MIL-STD-810G rated to withstand rugged outdoor activities and is water resistance up to 50 meters. It also comes with dedicated outdoor apps such as ViewRanger, MyRadar, and Runkeeper that measure and display information for outdoor sport and activities using the smartwatch's pressure sensor, compass and accelerometer.

The smartwatch has a physical TOOL button (when pressed), that shows real-time information including compass direction, air pressure, altitude, sunrise and sunset times, tide graphs and activity graphs on the display. On a single charge it promises a battery life of over a day on normal usage.
