HTC 10 expected to feature Super LCD 5 diplay, 3000mAh battery
New details of HTC 10 has surfaced online courtesy of Evan Blass (@evleaks), suggesting the the upcoming flagship will flaunt a Super LCD 5 display instead of Super AMOLED that was reported before, and pack a 3000mAh battery.
The main difference between Super LCD and and traditional LCD is that there is no air gap between the outer glass and display component, increasing the visibility and consuming less power. The Super LCD display has already been used by HTC in its earlier phones.
We have already been treated to leaks, reports, renders and live image of the HTC 10. It will sport a unibody metal build and the design and will have capacitive backlit buttons on either side of the Home Button/Fingerprint scanner.
The HTC 10 will reportedly come with 5.15-inch Super LCD 5 display, Snapdragon 820 SoC w/ Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB expandable storage, 12.3MP rear camera (w/ Sony IMX377 sensor, PDAF), 5MP Ultrapixel front camera (Samsung S5K4E6 sensor), USB Type-C and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense 8 UI on top.
HTC is expected to unveil the HTC 10 on April 19, however, HTC is yet to reveal an official unveiling date.
