Samsung Gear S2 Classic 18K Rose Gold, Platinum editions launched in India

Samsung launched the Gear S2 and Gear S2 Classic smartwatch in India earlier this year, and today the company has launched two premium models of the Gear S2 Classic, one encased in 18K Rose Gold and another in Platinum, along with a White edition of Gear S2 in the country.

The Samsung Gear S2 Classic 18K Rose Gold and Platinum models are priced at Rs. 34,900, each, while the Gear S2 White model costs Rs. 24,300. With the new addition, the Gear S2 Classic is now available in India in five variants – Gear S2 Classic Black, Gear S2 Classic Rose Gold, Gear S2 Classic Platinum, Gear S2 White and Gear S2 Black.

In addition, Samsung has also announced a couple of new apps, games and dial faces for these smartwatches. The new apps and games include –

Uber for Gear app - Lets you locate, book and confirm cabs right from your wrist
My Notes in Gear - Lets you take notes from the smartwatch
G'Night sleep tracking app - Analyses your sleep cycles
Xenozu - YouTube browsing app for the Gear S2
Games - Hextris, Vroom Rider and Hangman (you can use the Gear S2s rotating bezel as controller)

Samsung also released a wider catalogue of dial faces for the Gear S2 wearables, including visual animated art of peanuts and functional dial faces that can display weather, moon phases, health goals, reminders and notifications, all in one screen.
